Oh! If you have time to "taste test" before the wedding, you should try André Peach Passion!
I don't like the taste of most champagnes, but this one was actually pretty good! Although, it's not what you'd consider to be "not too cheap."-It sells for about $3.99/bottle.Yeah, it's cheap-but very peachy and bubbly! Besides, you can always create a paper sleeve to slide over the label with a celebratory message from the bride and groom! Nobody will even know what brand you have!

**Remember that when you are buying in bulk-ask your liquor store for a bulk discount!**
(This is not a well known fact! Most liquor stores won't volunteer the information! You'll probably have to play the role of a bargain shopper and ask about the discount!) They usually give at least 10% off! You might want to keep that in mind-no matter what champagne you choose!

I wouldn't worry about the cost for your champagne. Nobody will think you are cheap or anything if you don't buy somewhat expensive champagne! Just concentrate on the taste or flavor that will be pleasing to the majority of people.
::Here's a thought::
Ask a few good girl friends to have a "champagne tasting night!" Invite them over, and give them samples without labels! Let them all vote for the best taste! Then, you will be able to decide what will work best for you and your group!
You might find that more $$ isn't a sign of better taste.
Good Luck and have fun!

I highly recommend Ballatore. It is very reasonably priced and you can get it at places like Smart & Final, Costco & Sam's Club. It has an exceptional taste. I have recommended it to many of my brides and after taste testing, they all chose it as their #1 choice. In most weddings, the champagne never runs out because no one really drinks it. It is merely used to take a sip during the toasts. However, Ballatore is so delicious, that in all the weddings I have produced, which used Ballatore, we always ran out of champagne and had people asking for more. Try a taste test and I'm sure you will be convinced. Congratualtions on your upcoming nuptials and good luck!

Korbel has a good reputation and is a generally generic one. Although it's not actual "champagne". Champagne comes from only the one region in Northern France, all the others are called sparkling wines (don't ask me why, cause I have noooo idea!)
I'd suggeest going on wine.com and looking at their sparkling wines.
I have heard that Cristalino is very good and pretty cheap if you buy it by the case. It's from Spain.

I like Amor de Peche from Trader Joes. Its a peach flavored champagne and is about $5.00 a bottle. You may need to ask them to order enough for you as they don't usually have a ton on hand. I served it at my parents anniversary party and everyone loved it. I'm planning on serving it at my reception this September -

Congrats and good luck.

A $45 Burgundy can be a beautiful thing, but for most of us who like a good bottle with our roast chicken on an ordinary Monday night, a solid, $10 Cote du Rhone is gorgeous
