so i wrote him a note saying that i liked talking to him and that i thought he was funny. i also said that i wanted to ask him out to a movie and that id like to get to know him better. he read it and i let him think about it because i was off for the next few days. i came back and he cleared everyone away except me and i think he wanted to talk about it but i was too scared and everytime i tried to bring it up it felt awkward and i felt like someting was holdiing me back and i've been beating myself up over it. so should i have left things as they were and not wrote him that note?

I was in a situation similar to this the other day. I'm sure you are feeling a little different with him now that he knows. He probably is sure of how he is feeling now about you, but the situation is hard for both of you. At the time, you thought it was right to give him the note, so don't go back on your original thought. Unfortunately, you can't change the past-if you could life would be much easier. Everything is done for a reason. Things will pass and you and him will have an easy flowing friendship again soon. Let things simmer and cool off, then act like nothing happened, like your still great friends! And if he has to tell you that the feelings are mutual then great, if not, be friends and it wasn't meant to be. It wasn't wrong if you thought it was right.
