Because they're liberals, and it's a typical tactic to suffer from selective memory and distortion of facts to fit an agenda. Also, some of them might genuinely be delusional....
The uncontrolled borders is just part of a larger agenda to completely change the politics in America, because they know damn good and well that in a traditional and patriotic America, there is no way in hell their wack agendas would come close to passing through a popular vote of the people.

People have a certain side based on their own life experiences. I freely admit the fact that the "illegal immigrants" I have known have been very kind caring people who have given this Country so much more than they have taken from it has biased me. If I had a family member who was killed by an illegal immigrant, I am sure I would feel differently.
By the way, why don't you enlighten us to what the full story is?

Are you asking why they "won't include the full story?" This is a huge question with so many possible answers that it's not a fair question. It's like asking "Why do people talk about sweaters when they don't know the full story?" Without a context, no one can really respond to what you are asking. Sorry.

Hopefully I won't get too many thumbs down for this, but I'll give it a shot: The people who are afraid of telling the truth about immigration -- particularly illegal aliens -- are generally "left of center" and are willing to give up the sovereignty of a country that our vets have fought and died for to appease criminals who feel that they have a whole bunch of "rights" that can't be found either in the Constitution or natural law. These aliens' first act upon entering this country is to break its laws! That's the "full" story behind illegal aliens -- that and the fact that some greedy American employers are selling out their country by giving these people jobs in the first place.
