Try parting your hair on a different side, pulling the top layers back and leaving the lower ones alone, pull it all back in a ponytail and then a clip to the back of your head. Use pins, scarfs, barrettes, anything;
be creative.

I know I used to take sections of my hair and twist them back to a half-up do. I'd sometimes braid my hair off to the side, or clip a few sections off to the side with barrettes, and sometimes curl the top layers with my curling iron and not the lower ones.

Maybe once in a while ask your mom, older sister, etc, to French-braid your hair back; very chic, youthful, and practical. Or part your hair in a zig-zag.

Most importantly of all have fun! Really let your own style come out; go for new styles, retouch on older ones.
