I have unlimited long distance on my phone, so he tells me to call him ,so he want have to pay for the call. He always seems excited to hear from me, but how can I be sure he really wants to talk to me. Should I stop calling and see how long it takes him to call me? It makes me feel like I'm chasing him or something. We live about an hour away from each other, so I only see him on the week end, but I call him every night because he tells me to. Any ideas? Thanks

You should stop calling him, and stop worry about his phone bills. If he likes you, then he will do whatever it takes to contact with you. Yes, and you're right about "I'm chasing him or something". Men should do all the pursuing and chasing on the relationship, no matter how stable or comfort the relationship you're in right now. There are some easy to read self help books out there, and best one I've read it called "the rules" By Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider. Time-tested secrets for capturing the heart of Mr. Right. I hope this information help. It did help me to captured my Mr. Right. By the way, I am also on a 2 hours drive long distance relationship. We have been dating with each other near a year and only see each other during the weekend, too. I have never ever made the call unless I have something important to discuss with him. He calls me to tell me he misses me or loves me ( and again, I do not make this kind love/miss phone call) So, be mysterious, don't always be there/right next to phone for him. Good luck.

It seams to me a mix signals , if he seing you every weekends that's mean you are his first choise girl, but if you call every nights of the week and he answered it he is with no other girl either.
But if you try less available to him like skip the week night calling and make him wondering where the ......are you i am sure the next morning he will run to cellphone company and change his calling plan to unlimited calling, if he not may be he is broke, cheap, or he doesn't put enough mind to this relationship.

Good luck !

Angelina.

It depends...for me it wasn't okay because I was eventually tired of making the moves for 2 1/2 months(I asked for dates, called him, etc.). We went to homecoming together too. It made me mad but if things are that serious, he will surely call. Ask him to call you and if not decide where to go from there.

Tell him any time he wants to talk to you ring the phone once, and hang up. Then you call him back.
It's common sense that you call him as it;s cheaper.
He also might lack the self esteem to think you want to talk to him, and when you call he knows you want to talk to him
