My dog was in the bush all day saturday, and when we got back he was begging at me, so I gave him a pet and i noticed his eyebrow was very sticky and and hard. i tried to wash it with a face cloth, to get it wet, and then i brushed it with a thin brush. Its monday, and it is still there. i can't just rip it out because it would hurt him way to much, and i don't want to cut it because it will look bad, and it will take a while to grow back, and plus its too close to his eye. its stuck on his eye brow hair, not just his eye lashes. Hes a sheltie also... thanks in advance

Something oily usually works on sap. Vegetable oil, peanut butter or mayonnaise should do the trick. Once the sap is mostly out, you can use a fine tooth comb to remove the rest.

Try baby oil on a washcloth. When my dog gets into sticky stuff, i try various oils and cloths and brushes and soaps until something works. If you are worried about getting stuff in his eye, try baby magic non-tearing bubble bath. I use it all the time to get eyeliner off.

Ok, it's weird, but try peanut butter. It works on just about anything sticky you can get stuck in hair (bubble gum, sap, candy, etc.) Good luck!

Try a little baby oil on a cloth. Just don't get it in his eyes.
