If you do crash diets, and other unhealthy diets that don't give you adequate nutrition, it is likely that you will be unhealthy as an adult. The best thing you can do now is to develop healthy eating habits, don't eat a lot of junk food, exercise regularly, etc. Don't worry about dieting, just be healthy.

too many children diet at a young age. At the age of 12 your are still going through dramatic developmental stages and in the future your adult body will not be like that of a 12 year old. So, if you diet at a young age you will be at risk for eating disorders, body dissatisfaction, and even repercussions for not getting the proper nutrition at that age.
There is no telling if you will be fat, but, if you are 12 you should eat a well rounded diet - with healthy foods and include physical activity. you should not diet, over all it is not healthy at this age.

No you shouldn't. Although whether you get fat or stay skinny is up to you. If you want a healthy balanced diet, look on the internet for the food pyramid and read up on the four food groups and what amount a female your age needs from each group. Then I would plan an exercise routine.

I am not sure how you can reply your query, it appears like a clinical drawback. In case your brother looks like he's in severe agony i would almost always take him to the Emergency Room ASAP when you consider that there are issues that can arise with the bowels that can be lethal. I'm no longer trying to scare you however you can also wish to hold a detailed eye on him. In the very least i might go ahead and give the pediatrician call a ring! I am hoping your brother gets better quickly.

a "diet" is nothing more than a regular way of eating.
now if you are talking about dieting for weight loss (fat reduction) which may or may not include reducing the caloric intake then for someone as young as yourself who is in the prime growth years there may be some negative effects from this. the diet and caloric intake has a direct effect on the endocrine system. if you deprive your body of certain nutrients during this very important growth period it can permantely effect how your biology functions

nope, if your diet is healthy, nothing like eating only vegetable or fruits. IF you eat a variety of foods, and exercise, that's a lifetime balance and the earlier you start it, the better it will be in your future! =)

at 12 you need a high calcium diet and protein. I have children and you need milk and cheese for your bones. You need cereal and milk for your bones and hair. Those proteins make good thick bones and hair. It will make you big and tall. Fruits and vegies are great.
good food
