actually, i think both take the same issue on this right now. The republicans try to act like they want to be more strict, but in reality, both are for amnesty and to let things go the way they are going.... my opinion is illegal is illegal so we need to stop illegal immigration.

I love looking at the answers so far because they are so wrong. Talk about stereotypes. lol. I shouldn't laugh, because it's kind of scary - especially knowing that these people are raising children and voting.
Republicans are against it for a number of reasons. The first is because they hate the resources going towards people who speak spanish and are here illegally. The second is this notion that they are taking jobs from Americans. There are probably plenty more, but these are the two I hear the most.
Democrats are against it because it lowers the standards of working. When people work for less than minimum wage, it lowers the value of a worker. When a construction site hires illegals for $4 an hour when a union person or a reported wage earner would earn $25, it makes it difficult for those who demand good treatment and good wages to find jobs.
The biggest difference lies in how to REMEDY it, not the actual issue. Many Republicans believe that closing the borders will stop the bleeding. However, many Democrats believe that figuring out a way to make becoming a citizen easier and naturalizing immigrants that are already here is the way to go. Republicans counter that with an argument that says that it's rewarding illegal immigrants who took advantage of the system. The Democrats question the logistics, expense (productivity wise), and difficulty of a "round-up".

Democratic-ish i like green Day. P.S. Billie Joe Armstrong (frontman of green Day) is Democratic and supported Barack Obama in the 2009 Presidential Election. in certainty, American fool, considered one of green Day's step forward album (the different one replaced into Dookie, 1994) replaced into all approximately attempting to make experience of a submit-9/11 usa and protesting Bush's presidency and the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict.

It is supposed to be Democrats for it and Republicans against it but it all comes down to big businesses, who give money to both parties, want them here for cheap labor so that is what they get.

It is globalist vs. populist, not Republican v. Democrat ALTHOUGH the point of Republican globalists is to drive worker wages down, whereas the point of Democrat globalist is to have a free flow of constituents in poverty to swing our views leftwards, towards their comfort zone. It is the 'progressive' Democrats who are for open borders.

So far both sides and Big Business want it and make the Borders open; not thinking about the wishes of the American people!

Republicans want us for the cheap labor we provide to big business.
Dems have their own motives--something to do with "diversity", "political correctness" or some other stupid sh** which we haven't quite figured out.
Anyone know?

Republicans: Oppose it harshly and sometimes inhumanely.
Democrats: Are all in favor of it and sometimes have idiotic anarchist ideas.
