Why should not girls ask guys out? If you like a shy guy, they will never ever ask you out first unless it is a last resort so you have to make the first move. I am a shy guy so I should know.

I don't think it's tacky. Guys like attention and it takes the pressure off them sometimes. Just don't act desperate or beg. lol I think most men would like a girl to ask them out just once in their life. If nothing else, it's an ego boost.

I would say it could be a great idea. Guys go through this all the time. Sometimes the guy might be to shy.
I see no reason why a girl shouldn't ask a guy out.
However: whoever does the asking does the paying.

i think its fine. the way i see it, why does it matter who asks who out? it shouldnt matter. it is showing that one likes another, and is wanting to date them. i dont really see a reason why it matters who asks who out.
