I have to create an anthology of peoms and my theme is going to be death so I need a really fantastic death poem. It would be really cool if someone wrote me one.

its not fantastic but i wrote it when my dad passed away a couple years ago.

A Life Without You

As tears roll down my cheek
I try to swallow
So many of them, they could form a creek
Swollen bulges releasing my sorrow

As i watch the ticking time
It does not register
I'm almost as good as high
Only i'm LOW
My breathing is heavy and so is my soul
The weight just wont go!

Memories flirt with me
But i do not see
I feel like i'm sinking deeper,
into my misery
A bottomless cup of coffee
Thats what they call it
I went into battle
And now i forfeit!

Robert Frost:

"The Death of The Hired Man".

"Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" (contemplates suicide).

Two of my favorites. Another favorite, not really about death, but one contemplating one's life choices that were made, in retrospect, is "Two Roads."
