I am doing a school project planning a dinner party for a texan, what kind of foods do they eat? oh, and are spaghetti and venison steak good or bad?

Yes, Texans love BBQ (they use mesquite wood in the smoker and let it cook slow and long so it is tender). They also like fried food, chicken fried steak with cream/country gravy, fried okra, hamburgers with mustard but no ketchup or mayo, they also like corny dogs with a cup of mustard to dip it in. They like Mexican food as well, however it is a little different than other areas of the country. They like Tex-Mex which uses a lot of sauces along with lettuce, cheese, sour cream and guacamole.
In other words, it's easy to gain weight living in Texas. It's also easy to die of a heart disease as well. Oh but it tastes so gooood!!!

Hello, I am a Texan myself and we eat a lot of BBQ with meat or chicken. We also eat mexican food due to all the mexican restaurants that provide this food. I don't think spaghetti is a very good choice, but the steak will be better with BBQ. :)

I am a born and raised Texan!!:} We eat good country cookin, ya know fried chicken greens mashed potatoes, yams sweet potatoe pie chitlins corn bread and I eat everything with hot sauce... but thats just dinner... for breakfast we eat Hot cakes grits bacon and sausage and hashbrowns with cheese mushrooms and onions. MMMM I 'm makin myself hungry...

Texans eat a lot of BBQ. Just drench everything in BBQ sauce and you should be ok.......good luck!

i live in Texas and i hate spaghetti i thin it is the grossest thing alive. my personal favorites are a big,well done, cheeseburger, a stake is good,brisket, stuff with allot of red meat i like potato salad as a side
