My kitten got stuck in recliner, then was acting really wierd so my husband took him to the vet. Who was really rude. Said cat has concussion and wanted to keep him overnight. I went to see him and he was completely out of it. Could hardly hold his head up. Has anyone had this happen before? Will he make it or is he just suffering?

I am NOT a cruel person. And I always take care of my animals. Have you ever heard of ACCIDENTS??? They do happen, so any of you that want to answer that has to be negative. You are just plain RUDE. Why bother even answering if you can't give good advice. I am upset enough as it is and have turned here for some advice as the vet was a jerk. I didn't and don't need anymore worries or STRESS.

In the vet's care he should be ok. When this is over, try another vet till you find one who connects with you. Be sure the kitty is always in sight before you sit down. I never had a kitty get hurt because of this but mine have definitely gotten under the furniture. Hope your kitty does well. ♥

I sorry to hear about your kitten, I hope he recovers fully. I once leaned my rocking chair forward onto my kitten's abdomen. I rushed him to the vet, they kept him overnight for observation, he was fine. Now he's a fat and happy with no long term effects, other than not lying under the rocker. Look around for another vet, but keep in mind that we all have bad days. Your vet could have just had to put down a longtime customer or had a personal problem on his mind. When you pick him up, just mention to him that his attitude made you upset. It's amazing how much saying what you are upset about can really clean the air. Once again, I really hope all goes well for your kitten, and I don't think God would mind a prayer for him.

well I'm not sure about this one but maybe your cat just might have a concussion like the vet said-maybe animals concussions are somewhat different than human concussions-even if the vet was rude still have hope in the vet as being correct about your cat-if you don't feel 100% satisfied with the vet your cat is with than i would take him to another vet and see what diagnosis that one come up with-
well i hope everything goes alright for you and your kitten-

Sorry to here that my Mom bought my Dad a miniature poodle and he got killed that way and I lost two kittens the same way vets should not be rude it should be a law your willing to take whatever care you can of your pet and are upset allready that something you love is hurt and to rude to you like it was deliberate or whatever is just unproffesional.Sara P. maybe should hook up with this vet she seems angry at the world they would make a good couple.Peice of garbage probably to self obsorbed to have a pet.
