Are you sure the EGR valve has failed? More often than not, on ANY Ford, if your are getting EGR codes, it's the DPFE sensor that has failed. This is the sensor that has a big and small rubber hose leading to the EGR tube, with an electrical connector leading to it. To replace this part takes all of 2 minutes. This part is exclusively available from the Ford dealership parts department (part number F77Z-9J460-AB).

Its a round valve on the intake, I recomend that you buy a new one their cheap enough. Make sure you clean the gasket surface good.

behind and to the right of the throttle body

the tube it is mounted to runs up to the intake manifold, you can just follow that tube.
