You are not a Christian.
If you looked, acted, and mooed like a cow...that would not make you a cow.
You are "living the Christian life" in the sense that you agree with the morality of the Bible and are attempting to live by such morals (like the 10 commandments).
This does not make you a Christian.
What is clear...is that the Bible's morals are impossible to hold to. Read Matthew, chapters 5 and 6...and you will see that you are not perfect. Perhaps you even agree with this, but strive to be perfect. Good for you...but it won't get you into heaven.
The Bible is clear...we have all sinned and we all fall short of the glory of God...and the wages (or just deservings) of this sinning is death and hell. BUT, God in His graciousness became man and died on the cross for our sins...so that we may be forgiven of our sins and go to heaven. Read the book of Romans, which clearly and carefully explain what it means to be a Christian...
If you continue to live according to the rules of the Bible, heavily considering Matthew chapters 5-6 as your standard...you will find that you fail miserably. However, if in this moment, you turn to God...repent for your sins...ask for His forgiveness...and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then I will call you a Christian...and I will see you in Heaven.
...I just hope you don't die before repenting!

The ten commandments were rules to live by that existed in society long before Christianity. They are not Christians ideas. You do not believe in god, and that makes you an atheist. Because the ideas you follow don't actually come from Christianity, you aren't even a little bit christian.

well, if you think that the bible has the best ethics and morals ever then why don't you believe in God?? The bible is his and Jesus's entire teachings.
and you can't really live the entire Christian life without the God part
God is the Christian life.

Atheist. The 'don't believe in God' bit is a tipoff.
Many atheists follow most, if not all, of the commandments, for example. I don't put any other gods before God, murder, commit adultery, or covet my neighbor's possessions, and that's on a bad day.
Just because your ethical code lines up with Christianity on many points, that doesn't make you a Christian.

You are not judged by your actions but by your faith, so you are an athiest, or an agnostic.
But I am certainly glad that you agree to the ethics and morals contained within the Bible. And people that say that the Bible is full of bad ethics are just ignorant. I personally believe that the brilliance of the morality of the Bible is proof of God's existence. We humans are the only beings that we know of that even understand the concept of goodness. And I don't mean what constitutes goodness. Slavery was once moral. No, I mean that it is good to be good. Apes don't understand that. Dolphins don't. Elephants don't either. They might do good within their society, but they can't conceptualize an abstract subject such as goodness or evil. Only humans can.

Not sure what to say here.
An atheist is one who rejects the notion of a higher being. From what you said, that does not seem to be you exactly. You seem to be an internal contradiction; a Christian who does not believe in God. I think you need to spend some time in the Word and make up your mind what path you want to follow.

Alot of people believe that way, but you are sounding more of a believer than an atheist. Who knows maybe God is speaking to you through His Word which is the Bible..Maybe you should listen to what He is saying..thats how it usually works..Good luck and God Bless

Atheist/Christian Actually the only requirement to be a Christian is the belief that Jesus was/is the Christ and therefor the son of God. if you believe that then you are a Christian. If you don't than you are not a Christian.
An Atheist/Catholic
