Like almost everything else, its fragile and needs to be taken care of. fresh water and a right temperature will help it last longer .

Well, you have to take good care of roses, and your love and relationship. Otherwise it will just wilt and get boring quickly.

My take on it is that because roses are so expensive, and because they wilt so quickly, and they don't really serve a useful function, buying roses is one of the most extravagant (and wasteful) ways to spend money on someone. The message is that, "You mean so much to me that I would spend so wastefully on you."

Because like the beauty of a rose, love to is wonderfull, smells good, and brightens up you day. Than you take them home and you realize . That just don't last.

maybe it means love doesn't last long wen u give a person roses so u have to get some more so it will last again til it wilts

In a bouquet? They wilt so quickly because they've been cut. If you left them on the plant they'd last longer. I don't think there is any deep interpretation there.

I guess when you don't take care of them, then they deteriorate faster, and if you do, then they'll last a little longer. I think it's that love isn't eternal, like a flower. It's meant to end, and the only thing you can do is to take care of it until it dies.
Not to blast on anyone that is happily married.
