That is God's and Jesus’ ultimatum to us all that if we dare change the words not only in this book (Revelations) but any book we will pay a heavy price for our hubris. God and Jesus are wrathful towards false prophets and teachers that spread lies and discord to lead the people astray. Thus he warns us too maintain the integrity of his breathed word: The Bible.
The monumental warning is a deterrent to those who want to sully the word of God for their own demented purpose(s).
Revelation 22
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
This is a stern and fearful warning with a terrible consequences if the Bible were to be abridged, its warning is worse than Deuteronomy 4
Deuteronomy 4
2 Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you.
You play, you pay when you mess with God’s word. Fear and rejoice in the Lord!!!

at the beginning of the KJV is an English translation and what the bible truthfully is comes from The Hebrew and Greek variations that are the origionals. Secondly, the KJV has errors in it additionally. It says that God created evil in the KJV version and mentions Easter whilst the be conscious fairly ought to declare Passover. It is likewise from previous english which we dont use. The be conscious charity immediately capacity something diverse. i think of KJV is a sturdy version yet so it NKJV, NASB, CJB, NLT and NIV. those bibles are additionally used via Spirit crammed Christians who love the Lord, who've sought the Lord to renowned His certainty. Dont forget approximately who King James exchange into and remember approximately that many of the King James is from the Tyndale version. Get a concordance and bible dictionary to work out what the bible fairly says. each now and then some verses have been allowed by using fact the discovered a minimum volume of variations with the verse even although maximum persons of variations did no longer have it such as a million John 5:7. analyze this for your self. Thirdly, the Spirit teaches us and publications us. Jesus has printed the reality to us. I went to a church that used NIV whilst i exchange into saved. who're can we deliberate to be Christian? look nationally by using fact Im undecided if youre southern baptist to hold those perspectives, Is Billy Graham Christian? For every personality, there could be a bible written, for everyone has their own acceptance of truth, "if" everyone were proficient enough or patient enough to sit down and write one. As for all that is written by the apostles or prophets as to any additions to their words you state, they probably had in mind what I just stated. The "pleasure" of "faith" is this. That which "works" for the individual on "their" own level on a one to one basis with "God." Forget the damnable phases. John and revelations were written when this man was near or at his 90's, and Moses, based on "evidence" was most probably not even the author of that which they say are his books. Jewish scholars around the 3rd century b.c. in Alexandria, Egypt are the "men" who wrote most of what is Jewish doctrine. Think about it. Would you know "exactly" what your ancestor said around 900 years ago to the "letter?" Connect with God and listen to him above all else........

First of all, let's go Old Testament. Tower of Babel. Several languages. It had to be translated for the people to understand it. Speaking old Aramaic in the US of A would not be practical. What is really taken away from, or have people just tried their best to get the message across? Do you think God will condemn people for honest attempts at preaching the gospel to all people?
I think things like the Qu'ran might be problematic, as it did both add and subtract from the Jewish and Christian scriptures.

The various translations of the Bible are not a major problem; the English language changes so the translations reflect the 'change'.
It is the subtler things that have been added to (and taken away in at leat one case I presently know of) that causes 'scriptural problems'. It seems that many people currently are acepting the changes and then devouring other 'Christian' sects, rather than focusing on keeping God's word pure (even in the English language).

It's all to do with confusion caused by Satan's manipulations in this, his system of things.
As you can see, there is more emphasis being put on the differences in the various versions of the Holy Scriptures than there is on Yahweh God Himself.
That's exactly what Satan wants.
To confuse everyone and to cause arguments and disruptions and to lead everyone that he can away from spirituality and our Creator, Yahweh God.
I must say, it is working well in Satan's favor right now.
I must also say that it won't be for forever though--he has an end--it is written.

Revelation is part of a collection of separate books we call the Bible. The passage you quote referred only to the Apocalypse itself . It was separate from the other books of the Bible when that was written as a letter to the churches of Asia Minor, not as a captsone to the Bible. It's a common mistake in the US where untrained lay ministers have propoagated all sort sof misbelief out of their ignorance.

I have quoted some of those versus before in other answers and it proves that the bible has become useless because of crooked people who call themselves Christian and are even now at the point where they can use their new bible definitions under what they define as Christianity to demoralize society through various forms of invasion of privacy! That's why I stay away form the church and many of these people who have used their crookedness to ruin my life!

bc the different books were technically written by God through the Holy Spirit. what i think these verses are trying to say is that you cant just make something up put it in the bible and be like God told me to write this and you have to obey it. that's what i get out of it
