Question

ok...i like this girl in one of my uni classes...we sit together and have done for 3 weeks...we talk endlessly while in class because we have both done the subject in high school. after that we walk back to the bus together and then thats it till next week. however, i chickened out on asking her number last time because its a quiet classroom and i have no idea wat to do if i get turned down. also, its difficult to do so on the way back because its overcrowded...

when should i go for it? what should i do if i screw up?

Alright my man heres what you do. Heres 2 things u can do.
1. Ask her for her number while yall are talking in class but wait until yall are done talking about the subject.

2.Ask her after class so that way if she dont give you the number you wont feel to embaressed because not to many people will be in the class room and also you will be getting ready to leave anyway.

P.S. If yall talk on regular bases then she is not going to turn you down for her phone number unless she just has strict parents or you make her feel un comfortable. lol. And if u get the number IM me on yahoo and tell me how it went.

Just ask her number. But remember, you won`t be able to find your "ideal 10 minutes", because if you`re always thinking in what things are wrong around and what could you do wrong, you will find something that seems wrong.
So look for an not-so-bad moment, and believe in yourself. Be honest, and don`t be afraid, nothing is worse than miss an opportunity to be happy because you chiken out. Often what you say is not as important as how you say it.

And then what?
of course, call her!. But don`t act needy, you want to ask her out, not beg her out, so for example, don`t spam call her.

what should you do if you screw up? well, think about that when it happens. But always act like a (gentle)man, not like a child.

There are some nice articles in www.askmen.com. Personally I think you have to keep the esence of those articles, and don`t take them literally, because it could lead to problems like not being yourself, being too distant, etc.

Go for it. There is an old saying, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." If she turns you down, what would the difference be? You don't have her number right now either. Ask her and she turns you down, you still don't have her number. No difference.
If she is interested enough to talk to you and walk to the bus with you, she may be interested in going out.
Ask her for the number on the way to the bus. It would be quieter there and not disruptive to the class.

You never know until you ask what she will say. She may say YES!!! Just ask her, if you are too shy, maybe make up some reason for her to feel like she can call you for help on homework, it can go eaither way, ask her for help, or offer help and for god sakes use your number to get there!!!
If she says no, its cool, dont freak. She could change her mind next week, or she is not the right girl for you.

Write her a note... and make it simple but yet meaningful. Like say "
Hey ____,
I really like you, but im not sure how to tell you. I would really like if i could have your number and maybe hang out at ______ and go to the movies. I would appreciate if you write me back...(and if you give me your number it really would make my day).

and give it to her when shes kinda busy like walking to another class that your not in so it wont feel awkard.
just walk up to her and it doesnt matter if shes w/ her friends or not and say hey.. and hand this to her and say "read it" and give her a smirk.
if you know her locker... and its unlocked.. by her a lil red rose and put it in there w/ the letter. she would prob fall head over heals for you.
