I know this is a rare incident. But would most likely be pilot caused.

How is this kind of situation handled by the airline. Is it a debriefing, simple reprimand or serious disciplinary action?

"Tipping a wing" into the tarmac on a jet airline would probably cause millions of dollars worth of damages. In the US it would result in an investigation and, if the pilot were actually at fault, he would lose his license. The airline would probably just fire him, but, they could sue to recover damages.

really depends, ive seen it happen to where, nothing happened to the pilots, however if they were under the influence of something, then there would be legal consequenses. most of the time it is nothing that the pilot can control, ie...line guy putting in wrong fuel amount, baggage guy putting too much aft, and so on.
