He sounds a bit over zealous which means he is SO happy to be with you and yet he feels like you are all he has. Plus he seems to be a horny and perhaps overly excited.
What concerns me more is the fact that you says he is tough..in what way. Does he want you to do only what he says.. IF so start speaking up and saying no. You can calm him down by just saying chill out. I am not going no where BUT if you do not stop, I will.

As a former police officer, I can tell you that this kind of behavior often leads to abusive behavior in the future. He ,clearly is insecure, and there is nothing that you can do to change it. I would recommend the guy seek professional help. If caught soon enough, this destructive behavior can be delt with. My advice to you is to get away from him. He could be dangerous.

Be careful! Let him know if you're uncomfortable with this, because the situation could spiral out of control.
Try going out in groups to avoid being alone if he's too pushy.
Talk to him about it and set limits.

This guy sounds way too horny and you need to be careful of him the next time he does it tell him to stop and if he doesn't you should break up with him he sounds a little bit dangerous to me. He sounds like he wants more out of you than you are willing to give. Be careful.

Well to be blunt, he is horny and thats all there is to it.I dont know how you dress, but when girls dress to attract, the guys sexual intrest is what attract him to you by the way you present yourself.He doesnt look ata girl who is dressed like a hoochie and say "wow she sure is smart" or"she has high moral values I would want her to be the mother of my children".No, its more like,"oh man Id love to do her "and all his friends say "yeah me too!"Also get to know a guy before you date him, find out if he's a player or what.

I hate to say it but he might be insucure with you, meaning he doesn't want to "let you go" or out of his sight for one second beacuse he think you might look or do "something else" with another person...male or female. He apparantly doesn't trust you that much OR has had past relationships where partners cheated on him...try to get him to trust you a little more.
