Yes i know the easy answer is dont eat but its so tempting to snack on things while im making dinner or before I start making dinner, and then by the time dinner is done I'm not hungry! I dont always snack on junk food, but sometimes I do, are there any suggestions as to what I can do so I will stop and only eat when dinner is actually done? Thanks in advance!

put the food away so you can't see it, then make your dinner with some music playing. when you go to grab for the junk food, think, "am i serious about this? i can wait a little while for dinner." this should work.

Have fruits and other healthy foods around so you can snack and not worry about it. Here are a list of healthy foods.

Chew gum or snack on rice cakes which should not be filling.

when you want to "snack" ...reach for a glass of water instead
