I just got back from Iraq and found out my 16 year old has been extremley disrespectful. He got caught smoking in school, got in fights, and cussed at my wife. I lectured him and grounded him, but its not working. I was running late to work this morning and while I was coming down the stairs he pushed down his mother. I had little panic attack and told him to get his *** to school, cause when he got home I was going to use the belt on him. I know he's to old to be spanked, but this is the only measure I can think of doing. I don't want to spank him on his bare bottom, he hit puberty, but he's going to be hit. I havn't spanked him since he was 7 so he doesn't know what he's in for. Should I use my belt, what position do I need to put him in. I already can tell u he's going to put up a struggle, but he needs to be punished. Please help!

Well, I personally like to be spanked on the bare by my husband and sometimes with a paddle or a belt. As for kids, well, I do think if we parents and the schools brought back spanking, we wouldn't have so many out of control kids. If you really must spank him, I would do it over the bed, on the underpants only (he's too old for bare - not me though) and do not create any bruises, just a stinging red bottom should do it. Give him around 20 or so, that should do it.

If you're still in the service, then you should know what can happen to you if you hit your child. Don't risk your career over something your son did. You don't spank a 16 year old anyways. He's old enough to fight back. If he's physically pushing his mother and meant to do it, then you need to get him some anger management classes immediately. And if he touches your wife again, call the MPs. Have them haul his butt to the brig to show him you will not tolerate his behavior.

age he may hit you back
spend some time wive him
call the MP to shack some life back in to him or you can ship him off to army school to get his head stat
but for smoking show him so bad pics of body
