Ok there's this guy at school who is kinda nerdy, but I think of him as a good friend. I can totally tell he likes me but I don't care cause I don't. He was sitting in class today all alone and (being the person I am) I went up to him at sat down saying "you looking lonely!" and starting talking to him. He was really stunned and now he and everyone else thinks I like him when I already have my eye on someone else! Help!

Talk to him and make sure you both are on the same. Make sure you do it nicely though, u dont wanna break his heart. Just tell him you dont have those kind of feelings for him

See mind games from women. Why didn't you just leave him be..? You just gave the poor guy hope, when there is none.
You knew he liked you.
Let him down easy though. Just tell him you really like him for a friend and that's all. Make sure you do this before you try to go out with the guy you have your eye on. If you don't your friend might think he he has a shot. He'll be crushed if you go out with that other guy.
Also tell him that you are not rejection him, but you see him as a boyfriend. Let him down genitally though.

It's really hard, but I've been through that highschool thing too. Just ignore the comments and the people that say those things. And simply say, without an attitude, no i don't like him, I'm just trying to be nice and I like Billy anyways. Try to talk about that other guy and get them off the subject or get them talking about something else. Make sure it's not too obvious though. Just think of something that would be very distracting and would change the subject quickly. It works....trust me. You've just got to act!

You should just talk to him and tell him nicely that you didn't mean for him to take it that way. If you don't want to say it face to face, you could maybe write him a note or something. Not telling him would be the equivalent of leading him on, and that's never good.

get your friends involved. have him sit with them and start moving away to the end of the table. if he a good guy then your friends won't mind being around him, and he will latch on to all of you. he could develop into someone you could like and he could learn a lot from your friends. so you can't lose. he's a friend then he becomes a catch later.

Wow..that's weird...that's kinda wats happening at my school...only the nerdy kid always wants to talk to me and gives me hi5's...and i've been trying to be nice to him...but lately he's been telling everyone that i like him...and it's annoying me to death...so now i just ignore him...but all i can say is just tell him that you do't like him and tell him that you like someone else...

tell him u just want 2 b friends. who knows maybe u'll stop likeing 1 guy & start likeing him. even though he is kindy nerdy.

u did a good thing he's probably shocked that you came up to him. im sure he's glad that you came up to him. if you dont like him, then dont go up to him anymore
