There are different agencies working in an Airport to facilitate the travel. The airline does the check-in for the passengers and takes care of the registered bag (checked in bags). The immigration people check you through their formalities and the customs people check you for any contraband items etc. The security people frisk you and allow you to board the plane. These all are the important functions. If you have a oversized hand bag which is found in the last minute i.e at the time of boarding, it is taken from you in exchange of a tag and loaded alongwith other bags into the plane. You have not clarified at which point the money was found with you and who had confiscated it. However you should have asked for an official receipt for the money confiscated, if you are not allowed to carry cash to that country of your travel and claimed it back when you returned. You could have also converted that cash in to USD or Euros etc. I think, if you had carried large sums of money against the rules they would have detained you for further questioning. Since that has not taken place, I feel somebody has cheated you.

Upon arriving lower back into the U. S., you will settle for a US Customs and Border risk-free practices assertion, which would be crammed out via you. you may desire to fee all the products to procure in Vietnam. It capacity that the U. S. has to renowned how lots worth of stuff you're bringing in. you won't be able to have something extra desirable than $10,000. you will declare it on the airplane. Flight attendant will bypass out the declarations.
