my poor lil puppy nibbled a little bit of rat poison!!!!! i am so worried for him right now!! will it kill him? what are his chances??

The rat poison will hurt the dog. Call the Vet NOW! Get some vitamin K because you will need to administer it!

You should definitely take him to the vets asap! Besides of liver and kidney problems most rat poisons are a anticoagulant. So your pup will probably need several doses of vitamin k from your vet. If not he could get a tiny cut and bleed to death.
Oh and from this point on you may want to consider using humane traps instead of poison to protect your pup.

Did this happen like a week ago?? Or what!! Take your puppy to the vet! He may have just a little of it in him! But yea his chances of living are good!!!! Vets can usually get them back to normal! My neighbors dog did the same but she got it bad!!! And she lived!!

i would try to call any veterinary clinich or animals hositpal thats still open this time day and bring youre puppy there right way if not youre dog might died today or even tommarow . what can happen if youre dog had ated some of the canned puppies food can cause kidney problem or even make him feel sicked alot now.

Call your vet right away - if they're not open, find a 24 hour emergency animal hospital or a hotline - some sort of professional that you can speak to. You may need to take him in immediately (depends on how much he ate).

They say you should give him plenty of water and fast. that might drain his system. It depends on how much he ate. If it was only a bit, the worst thing might just be illness for a week. But if he ate a lot, he could have serious liver or kidney damage.

Well if he is a small puppy it could hurt him TAKE HIM TO A VET ASAP you can never be sure of what can happen especilly to a pup
