O yea and is it true that only lead flight attendants wear gold wings? Like on a flight only the lead one gets the gold wing?

no...every attendant gets wings. Attendants have senior flight attendants(gold wings) and then there are just regular (silver) they have nothing to do with rather they can fly or not.

"On a flight only the lead one gets the gold wing"? You speak of lead, so you must mean military formations. All military pilots have either silver or gold wings, depending on the branch of service. USAF is silver. All of them. If memory serves, Navy wings are gold. All of them.

If they have wings then they can fly the plane. Maybe they are pilots too. In case of an emergency.
