Why can i get ladies?

Question

It seems that every girl im attracted to isnt attracted to me. But those im not attracted to are attracted to me. Its not that i "want what i cant have". Im really careful on who i date, i want something fulfilling and lasting, nothing fake

I mean i really feel inside me i would be very good to that special lady. I highly respect "chivalry" and i guess am old fashioned such as pulling out chairs, walking them to the car, things like that, even though im 16 and its not really what a lot of guys are like anymore.

Im a very intellectual person. I like talking about life, religion, politics, history, music, art.

A lot of people tell me im funny and say i make them laugh, and pessimistic. Im also pretty shy.

The last girl i really liked, i wrote her a poem, and drew her a very special picture that worked very hard on (few hours) and she didnt even appreciate it and just ignored me. I dont know what im doing wrong.

Too those who say dont worry about it your only 16. It doesnt matter i still have hormones all men have :)

I don't know what's wrong with the girls that you like, because from the way you described yourself you sound like an awesome person. A lot of people feel like they will never meet that special someone, but you just have to give it time. Things like that have to happen naturally. I know this may sound sooo cliche, but there's someone for everyone. Some smart chick is gonna swoop you up in no time!

Yeah I have the same problem!!! I have really high standards and there are lots of guys that like me and are attracted to me but I would never give them a chance. There are 2 boys in my whole school that I would date...both are seniors...(I'm a junior). One already has a date to prom and everything...and the other, my close friend..well im about to tell him how i feel soo ill see how that goes but anyways yea basically people tell me all the time that I want what I can't have but thats ridiculous...it's just that I KNOW what I want and Im not gonna settle and it's good that you don't either. I know I'm not ugly..and You for sure aren't ugly..but just keep in mind that OTHER people want what they can't have a lot too...so maybe if they know that you want them...then...ya know what im saying??? kind of?? I guess you just gotta wait for that right person to come along that will return your feelings...their out there somewhere... haha anyways goodluck....i tried to help..kind of sort of i guess lol

Your fantasy woman might be completely all wrong for you! See what you have written in your first few lines. Lets say you are talking about the perfect girls, super pretty, hot body. Lets say the ones who want you are not. What do you know about the super pretty ones? I'll tell you if you can't figure it out. They don't have to work hard, everything is given to them, they are plastic and artificial, care only about themselves and how they appear to others. Give a so-so looking girl a chance and you will see what devotion and love really is. They won't live for what their friends think, they will have a deeper understanding of life and expectations. Look for a girl that can give back what you want to give her, she's waiting for you now.

Hang in there. If you try not to think about it for awhile you'll be better off. Just always be yourself and the right girl will come along eventually. At your age, many will probably come and go. Don't get too involved, keep your options opened. Females like to know that they are attractive to you. You can flirt in subtle ways. Use alot of
eye contact, joke around and never be insecure.

Honey, my advice to you is to stop worrying about girls. You are only 16 and have a long life ahead of you. Concentrate on yourself and your future. Finish high school, go to college, get a good job & a place of your own. When you stop worrying about impressing girls & show everyone how independent you are and making good choices about your future, the girls WILL recognize that and take notice. Right now, focus on yourself and the rest will fall into place...

Girls are complicated it takes time to try and figure us out in the mean time continue being yourself because there is someone out their looking for a guy like you. You're too romantic. Girls are more cerebral about relationships these days. We would prefer to be treated like equals than princesses. If I went out with you, I would probably laugh at you. (Unless you were actually good at talking politics. Then, I'd bite my tongue.)

i know you have preference, some of those girls you are not attracted to, i think you should give them a chance....you may find what you looking for....someone to love you, someone who adores you, someone you may have some things in common with....love is not based on site it is based on what you feel inside.....before you worry about being attracted to appearance you need to be attracted to one's mind. if a girl is not attracted to you so what there are some who are, just give them a chance

thats a really cool pic! i think u might be freaking girls our a little bit! this guy that used to like me drew my name in these really crazy letters on this piece of paper and then he drew a pic of me- i never talked to him again! don't be so forward, u seem like a sweet guy- when u like a girl just give her complements and flirt with her! use ur funny personallity to win them over- not ur poetry abilities! ull totally find someone!
