Stop having commercials for 1 week! That's it! McDonalds spends millions just on commercials. If someone doesn't see a McDonald's commercial in a year, I don't think they would say, "hmm, Did McDonald's go out of business?" With the money they would save they could pay their employees higher and help to make the food healthier. What do you think?

That's not as smart of an idea as you'd like to think. Those commercials, make money, or they wouldn't have them -- you think they shell out all that money and don't have a research department studying commercial's advertising results, etc?
Just think about late the evening, a commercial comes on for McDonalds. Do you know how many potheads alone, had no plans of getting a burger, but saw a commercial and the next thing they're at McDonalds.
Cutting commercials would take money out of their pockets, not put money in them.

Woah! As soon as I opened this question, a McDonald's commercial (the one where the guy dreams and his friend or roommate switches the cheddar melt for a shoe) came on while I was watching Deal or No Deal! I sooooo agree with you! I think McDonalds should decrease their commercial spending to save money or not.

Well I believe your right about the commercial part. But... I still don't believe the food would be any healthier if employees were paid more. After all it is fast-food.

Maybe Mc Donalds, Burger King, KFC and Taco bell could stagger their commercials. Or Quiznos. They could all save money. Oh boy what econimests we are.

That's a good idea for every company. Advertisements don't get me to buy anything; it's the price and quality that I'm concerned with.

Yeah, but maybe they don't really want to pay their employees more and make their food healthier.

They pay rich media outlets their money to keep their money circulating among the rich people, and then they take it out of their taxes. So the rich stay rich and get richer off us stupid drones who have no time for a good diet but have to eat their deadly posion just to make it thru the day.
