I am a US citzen who lives and works in Mexico. I will be marrying my (mexican) girlfriend of 2.5 years in several months (we will marry in Mexico) and I would like to know if it's possible for my future wife to fly into Miaimi for a cruise by entering the United States with her tourist visa. Is it legal for us to send off her paper work for a K3 visa before entering the US as a married woman with her tourist visa? Does her marriage to a US citezen invalidate her tourist visa? Would it be ok to say that she is not married to the US immigration officials if we don't send off the K3 papaer work and simply hide that fact that we were married in Mexico?

I believe she can enter the US as long as her tourist visa has not expired and she has not stayed too long in the US for this year. Tourist visas don't last as long as other visas. The United States does not recognize a marriage license from Mexico the same way as it does a marriage license from the United States. If fact, a marriage is performed on the state level. In theory you could marry two different people in two different states (but I think only one will be recognized by the Federal Government). From what I understand, she will still be recognized as a tourist (not your wife) she will be like a travel companion or your guest. In order for her to become a citizen of the US quickly and easily (it takes 2 years) you need to get married in the United States also (you don't need a big marriage ceremony, just file marriage papers in your home state). After that, it's VERY important that she obtain a social security number (or a tax ID number) from the social security office. It couldn't hurt to get a hold of her Mexican birth certificate too (along with a Mexican drivers license and metricula consular card).

When a person has a Tourist visa they are allowed into the U.S. as long as the visa is valid, its time is not expired.
And yes you would be allowed to leave the country on a boat and get back in as long as the visa still good.
Yet if you going to other countries, you going to need a valid passport for her to get in and out of those countries.
