I can provide a report that proves left-handers have, based on averages and in-depth studies, higher IQs (not by much). Does this mean that because I, as a left-hander with an IQ in the top 1% of the population, am a propounder of more truth than those without? Because I am a left-hander with a high IQ, does that make my theistic view more legitimate? No? Then why so for 'high IQ atheists'? Shouldn't we judge truth based on logic rather than who it's coming from?
By the way, to all southpaws who don't feel shameful bragging, here's that link about high-IQ lefties. Scroll down for it.

Note: I ask for a report proving the assertion, I do not detest the truth of it. The main point I'm making is that we can't trust a genius who doesn't take notes.

IQ seems to me to measure one type of analytical intelligence but has no bearing on wisdom. For example, it is a very good bet that Hitler's henchman Goebles had a very high IQ. He was very smart and able to manipulate mass consciousness to a remarkable and frightening degree. On the other hand, Sitting Bull, a deep and beautiful person, would probably test very low on a conventional IQ test. To me the relative meaninglessness of IQ in terms of whether somebody knows anything about life is common sense.

Good point. Any appeal to authority is just a shortcut to knowledge, but that shortcut is taken with a risk. In the end, the court of rationality, logic, and evidence decides what is true -- not the man with the most credentials.
That being said, I still think a strict commitment to rationality and logic leads to atheism, high IQ or not. I'm interested in why you think otherwise...

There is no proof of it. Any existing report is based on a sample of the population and extrapolated. Determining the type of triangle that was different from the others while two trains were traveling in opposite directions does not make one a genius, even though according to the silly quizzes I score fairly highly compared to fellow partakers. It might boost your own ego or fill time with entertainment value, but I've personally never had the opportunity to use any such knowledge in real life, though some of you might have, but some of you may also be living in fruity-loops land. And you can apply this statement to both scientific tests or religious scripture.

analyze do no longer tutor that atheists have extreme IQs and Christians do no longer; that's a misinterpretation of the outcomes. And your remark that they score "severely bigger" exhibits a pretend impact of using the term "substantial" in information. analyze usually in ordinary terms stumble on a difference of a few IQ factors--hardly an important difference while comparing 2 persons. that's called "substantial" in ordinary terms by way of fact with a extensive sufficient pattern length, information can be sure that this type of difference is very no longer likely to be by way of random version; this is, there is a vital correlation between IQ and non secular perspectives, whether the graph of the correlation is very almost horizontal. besides, there is the actuality that the analyze contain anybody who claims a faith below that faith; people who're too dumb to think of for themselves are hardly in all likelihood to interrupt freed from the religion of their family contributors, and maximum atheists grew up in a non secular enjoyed ones, hence unintelligent anybody isn't likely to grow to be atheists. on the onset of the Christian faith, analyze maximum in all likelihood would have shown that Christians have been, on trouble-free, greater smart than their classic Jewish opposite numbers. (speaking of which, analyze right this moment tutor Jews are greater smart on trouble-free than atheists. possibly the Jews ought to rule the international.) the international would in all likelihood be a greater efficient place if smart people ruled it. although, pondering the small nature of the adaptation of trouble-free IQ between atheists and theists, the respond is to no longer placed atheists in cost.

All Atheists don't have higher I.Q.s than Christians and vice versa. There are intelligent and idiotic people in both groups. A belief or disbelief in a God or religious work doesn't affect a person's intelligence.

Hey alright a fellow lefty! But do you know left-handers tend to die earlier than right handers? Its a right-hander's world sadly. Exterminate the right handers!

sure, hold on.
1. Atheists dont beleive there are magical men in the sky who take it personally when people touch themselves.
since it would take someone of a low IQ to beleive the statement above is true those who do not... have a higher IQ.
WOW!
if this in any way is difficult for you to understand i highly reccomend finishing your education or at least taking an entry level Critical Thinking class/seminar.
thank you.

it would be a good idea for a psychological study
athiests use more logic and reasoning - a high IQ means you have a good sense of logic and reasoning - hate to use a pun, but you do the maths!

What makes your theistic view illegitimate is that it has no foundation in testable evidence. You may be very bright and still be emotionally incapable of critically examining your religious indoctrination.
