Just tell him. Wait until you know that he is in a good mood. And bring it up slowly and don't get offensive or defensive when he gets bitchy about it, cause you know he will.. Stand firm.. you are not an infant any more. But to put his mind at ease tell him that you aren't sleeping with him or even thinking about it until you have graduated. Even if it isn't true, it'll make it easier to cope with. Maybe not right away but definately once he has some time to let it all sink in and really think about it.

Try sitting down at dinner with him and having a talk. Tell him that you think that you are old and mature enough to have a boyfriend and you think that it is unfair that he doesn't let you have one. Try you're best to stay calm and resonalble throughout the whole conversation even if he isn't and if he still says no boyfriends then try waiting a few months or even a year and have this convo again.

I don't know how old you are but I would go on a movie date. I would get a bunch of my friends, including your boyfriend, and ask you dad to drive you to the movies (or u dirve) but let your dad get to know your friends and bf. But once again I don't know how old you are and that might sound to kidish but I love goin to the movies with my friends.

Depends. How old are you? If you are underage then you should respect the no boyfriend policy or at least have some one along with you . He loves you and wants you to be safe emotionally and physically.

I know what your going through. I know that this is complicated and confusing and I know that your probobly going to hate my answer but honey, if you love your dad you need to be honest with him and tell him about your bf, and your bf's. I know this is hard but you have to keep in mind he will always love you no matter what and eventually he will support your decision. I know for sure all your dad wants from you is for you to be happy, and healthy and you can't be happy lying to your dad. Best of luck!!!!

I have a daughter with your same problem. Her father is a closed minded person. One tries to talk to people like that but they don't listen. It's a shame to have to be in hiding all the time, like if it were some dirty secret.

I have no idea how old or young are you ?
but I think that you should just tell him you like the guy and you want him to get to know him so there is no shady business between you guys.

Just have a conversation with him. Ask him questions like what would u do if I had a boyfriend and if he says that it's OK, then you should him.
