My packages to my husband are filled with mission munchies (prepackages food items that travel easily), homebaked goodies-Plenty to share, personal hygiene items, toys. Sometimes the dollar store will inspire me. I have even found silly stuff in the quarter machine. I also always put a frog of some kind in the box because frogs are ancient symbols of good luck. Movies and games for the PSP. Underwear, socks, and tshirts are always needed.

Have been through 2 deployments with my husband and about to get number 3 started soon. I send care packages every single week. While it can get expensive, it is important to keep that mail going as often as possible, even a small box. Good luck to the 2 of you! Take care!

Good luck to your boyfriend and to yourself also!! My husband always wants cookies... Send him comfort items if you can... My neighbor's husband wanted another blanket and a foam mattress topper... Send him silly things to remind him of home maybe... but things that can make him more comfortable or occupy his spare time and keep his mind off things would help a lot.

When I was in the Navy I liked gettin anything that reminded me of home. Also, GOOD coffee makes any military person popular. Good coffee is gold around military personnel.
