We catch each other looking at each other and we both try to impress each other, the thing is. We have never had a 1 on 1 conversation. I would like to get to know him, before I really start liking him. Once I say hi, and hes says hi back wat do i say, I dont want it to be weirdly silent.

just be yourself is all i can say, im actually going through something similar but i actually talk to the guy but cant figure it out. All i know is that if he really likes you he will talk back, but dont be freaked out if he doesn't talk back immediately, he might just be a little shy.

Just say out loud next time you say hi to him, add... would you like to have coffee somtime? Ask a open ended question to get an answer... No uncomfortable silence. If he agrees then set it up and you know he's going to take u up on it! What do u have to lose? Girl life is short !
Take it SLOW and just meet for coffee, "no alcoholic drinks"... or at the library and study. How about a Borders, they have music, books and a coffee shop too!
