It fills up with answers faster than any other section...people are passionate, excited, interesting, some are rude, nasty, some ask questions but don't really want the answer, some come to stir up trouble, having said all that, I've really enjoyed reading some answers and admiring the humility of some people...i like it...

If it were just an area to share insights on beliefs and to answer legitimate questions, I'd think it was a wonderful place. Fortunately, there are some of those questions.
However, it seems we always see the questions that make us annoyed on this forum. I keep hearing about how Christians bash the atheists, and as a Christian, I see a lot more questions that are christian bashing. What that means is that we see the things that annoy us.

I've been here since the beginning (Dec. 2005). It has degraded to a horrible state of malicious commentary. You will probably find 1 searching question out of 50, and the other 49 are either stupid remarks posed as questions, or agendas with absolutely no care for answers. These trolls will not write their own blogs because nobody will read them.
This answer marks my 6,000th answer. Seems appropriate.

I think it's a very diverse forum populated by people who are wanting to learn more about religion and spirituality.
Plenty of trolls, too.

It has helped me understand alot about other religions....I mean we all have questions don't we...what better way to find out about them, than in the forum....

I think that there are a lot of people trying to either rationalize their beliefs to themselves and/or others, I think that there are people trying too hard to convince others that they are right and the other person is wrong. I think that there are too many people looking to bash other people's beliefs. I think that there are too few honest questions.
