It is asking you to research the influence of spirituality on both Aboriginal and Christian practices. For instance are spirit mediums very important to the Aboriginal people? How do Christians view the spiritual world. It's asking you to back up your thesis with case by case facts and evidence. "In this ritual the Aborigines pass a baby through the smoke of a fire to protect it from evil spirits.... This demonstrates the importance of the spiritual realm on the belief system and customs of the Aboriginal culture" ---( by the way this is only an example and may or may not be factual.)

I hope that helps!

Try comparing religious ceremonies around birth, coming of age, marriage or death in aboriginal and Christian communities.

Find cases that explain how spirituality shows itself in Aborigianal societal and Christian Societal practices.
(For example, at Christmas, you see Santa at the mall, holiday songs played on the radio, people buying presents for each other...)
This prof wants you to find cases in the literature to show each societal norm within spirituality.
