Hey Demi,

All I have found is two people with that (nick)name. One in Ebay [ http://feedback.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=irmaha&ftab=AllFeedback] and the other has a gmail acount [irmaha@gmail.com]

irmã = sister
(portuguese)

the "a" is nasalized

if you don't have the option to write the "tilde" (accent) over the a, adding "ha" to the spelling gives you just about the same pronunciation effect (as close as you can get in English). But "irmã" is the correct way to spell it in portuguese.
