Hi, Actually you should have started training him as soon as he was able to walk around if you had the mum. If you didn't as soon as you picked him up. Its easy no matter what size, I have teacup poodles and the puppies are fed and then out on the lawn or pad to go to the toilet. I use the same word when I ask them to go (any word is fine, I use 'weeees' ) and when they are relieving themselves praise them greatly. It doesn't take long.
They even go to puppy school and after 3 months old, they go to obedience training for 1 hour a week, amongst all the German shepherds, Dalmatians and Yorke's, the big and the small, until they know enough for me to continue by myself.
Puppies are never too young to start to teach them anything.
Hope this helps :)

You can definately train him. Start with little stuff. Work on the bathroom, calling him and getting him to come, sit, maybe stay, walking on a leash.

The earlier you start the better.

His size should not determine his training schedule. You can start training your puppy as soon as they are weaned if you choose to. I would advise you to start now and take it slow. Yorkies can be quite stubborn so start when they are still submissive.

well if hes only 2 months i think its to early for to train him potty train cause still a baby and i think you can hold him with youre hand and use a wet tissue to wipe his pees and poops off whenever he need to go , because sound like it will be hard for him to go the bath room hisself. myabe when he get young like 1 year old can teach him to go the bath rom when he does know where to poop and pees at. when i had my teacup yorkshire terrier mix with jack russell terrier she was like 2 year old i had see her to go the restoom herself whatever she needed to go out but she now 4 year old and she already been trained to go herself no i didnt train her she was trained before i got her from my mom friend who breeds yorkies and yorkshire terrriers dogs.but we did had her use the diaper pads in case nobody want home but after she use do go her self out side we tooked off the pads months ago.

Don't bother with the training pads, it's great weather, start training him to go outside ASAP.

Train him now! When they are puppies, they learn very fast and it is fun for them. It helps their minds develop. Don't let him fool you with his "Oh I am to small and cute to learn any tricks." Yorkies are so cute! Be sure to teach him lots of cool tricks for parties and stuff!

You start to train as soon as you get him home.

Start A.S.A.P. The younger the better. If you wait to long then it will be even harder to train.

asap, because the older the dog, the harder it is to train them.
