Think you need to chill, you are getting in a little too deep.

If you see the name of the forum it says cat and and for dogs and another says birds and another says general-pets thats what these forums are for is to talk about their animals and also to find questions about their dogs and to get the help they need if there any breeders that are on the board and there have been and a couple of vets thats what these forums are for is to ask questions. Buy the way there is a general forum that where people like you can go ask general questions. This is the wrong forum that you are in and if you look again it does say cat go to the forum that says general forum instead insulting people that are asking questions that pertain to cats . Are you a person that does not like animals then you are in the wrong forum.

Oh excuse me..are you using the term scummy breeders to attack LEGITIMATE breeders of purebred cats? A decent breeder is 1)knowledgeable about the breed that they specialize in 2)observes certain standards as far as mating, care, cleanliness, and raising kittens in a family setting rather than a kennel or 'mill' 3)sells their purebred cats at a fair price and ENSURES that the kitten or cat goes to a good home...
There are some people who choose to have a purebred cat, such as a Siamese, Persian, Maine Coon, or Ragdoll..what's wrong with that?
While my own cat was adopted from a shelter...I know many people who have a purebred cat, or have both adopted mixed-breed cats and purebreds. Some cat breeds are more inclined to be playful(Siamese) while others are quiet and gentle(Persians)..
People are allowed to choose what breed of dog or cat they want to. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

Why are you trolling the cat forum in order to attempt to start an argument with perfectly ordinary people concerned about their kitties rather than asking legitimate questions?

Mostly it just seems to be place for people who can't write, spell, or otherwise use the English language properly. But yeah, there are a million stupid questions on here. "My cat's bleeding out its eyeballs... should I take it to the vet?" Idiots. I just hope/assume/pretend they're all under age 10.

I see a lot of questions by people that don't know what to do with their cats and this is a good way to share knowledge.

I haven't seen that many of those questions. I have an idea. If you don't like this forum, go to another. I'm sure there's one that suits you.
