What I would do, is move on. If he's jsut going out with you because other people are going he isn't worth your time at all. Afterall, you have a right to choose a choice. If you choose to stay that way, your only ruining your self confidence... it will lower greatly. Think about it. Would you rather go with someone that cares or someone that just goes out with you for the wrong reasons? Good luck. :)

one....go anyways and just have fun, not worrying about him once you get there.
two...don't go, you are permitted to change your mind about anything in life.
three...go, but go with someone else, telling him you are canceling your date with him since he has no apparent interest in you.
four...watch tv and eat popcorn instead.
