If you decide to sleep, when you could have gone to church, you might have missed a Word that could have really blessed you.

We used to drive to church 45 minutes (it was that good) and on occasion, now and then, my wife would not want to get up, get dressed and go. I told her that the chances were good that this would be the morning she would really be blessed. She agreed, we would go, and be coming home all excited and talking about what we heard that morning. Then I would remember what I said to her that morning, and she would be so glad I would urge her "not to miss out on the blessing".

This can also apply to those who put off accepting Christ into their hearts. In so many ways God wants to bless us, but our own prideful ways prevent Him.

Christians use it as a lure to get you to come to church. They think that God will bless you if you live a life style of purity and if you live a hethenistic life style he will not...
But that doesn't make sense because the Bible tells us he loves everyone equally and were all is children. Shouldn't he bless us no matter what?
OOOHHH! And they also say that if you give money in the offering he will return it to you 10 fold! What an amazing promise/garauntee that is. Give us your money and even more money will undoubtably find its way to you so you can give us EVEN MORE of your money!!!

hi there OK example: if you are good in drawing people's faces or anything that you do it means do not let anything or anyone take that away from you. it is a blessing when someone can do something and others admire it. even your good personality is worth a million blessings.

be well be safe

I 've never heard that saying, but it reminds me of a line from "Silas Marner" that goes something like, "When you turn a blessing from your door, it goes to the one that takes it in." I think we've all turned blessings from our door before, whether out of pride, blindness, folly, whatever.

Usually, don't let pride prevent you from accepting a gift. Some people have a problem receiving.
