So do we have choice in heaven? Than can we not choose to sin when we are in heaven if satan choose to sin and than we would fall to earth and all this would happen again? Why can it not happen? Just curious

Why did satan choose to sin than... he was perfect

I have never asked this question before either... why are people on here so rude? I just wanted to know. Unless I knew you at church in 7th grade I am sure that you have not heard this question asked by me

You can't possibly sin in heaven since there will be NO temptation!

I wonder this too.

If there is choice and spiritual growth in the afterlife, then there is no reason to strive for spiritual achievement on Earth - one can merely wait until after death, and then repent once you find out once and for sure what deity or deities rules we're supposed to be following.

If there is no choice or spiritual growth possible in the afterlife, why would I want to go? Spending eternity in an endless ocean of pointless ecstatic bliss is not appealing to me in the least. If it was, I'd go become a heroin addict here on Earth.

Basically, the Judeo-Christian conception of the afterlife is untenable with their own theology, and I don't buy it either way.

The angels were not perfect. Like everything else God created, they were very good.

And when tested, some of the angels failed.

Now that all of that is history, Heaven is a place that is "permeated" by the real presence of God, just as he truly is.

As such, the brightness of his being will banish all thoughts of evil and sin.

To put it another way: In heaven, God will provide us with an infinite number of free-will choices ... but ALL of them will be GOOD choices.

God controls the menu. We get to choose.

God remains God, and we get to exercise our God-given gift of free will.

Forever.

If there is no temptation, an not sin in heaven, then it must be a pretty boring place. Everything we do, according to one Christian or another is a sin.

This is a good question. I think that we will not be able to sin when we are in heaven.

Most people think that in Heaven, we'll sing God's praises. However, I would like to point out that most people on Earth simply cannot sing, why would God want to hear multitudes on disconsonant voices?

Satan is in Hell, plain and simple, does that answer your question? We will be different people in Heaven, saved by the blood of Jesus. Satan refuses Jesus and therefore is where he is.

C.S. Lewis once wrote that one cannot want "wrong things" in heaven. I am not certain whether that means that anything one might want is perfectly all right, or whether one will no longer be capable of desiring wrong things.

I 've seen this question here before. Why do you keep asking the same question? Are you trying to make a point or don't you accept any of the answers you've gotten before?
