Ive heard alot of non-belivers say that why does "the man upstairs" always seem to bring chaos and destruction, and not everyones prayers are always answered. But then I saw an episode of Futurama that said, if he grants to many prayers people become dependent. And if he doesnt grant prayers people lose faith, and so he must use a lite touch. Personally I find this intresting. Whats your view?

I don't think that a 9 year old girl asking god to stop her father from raping her everynight would make her dependent on prayer.
Besides, the Xtians say we are supposed to be dependent on god for everything.

I'll answer again.. I find it hilarious that you're getting your doctrine from a fictional t.v. show, and yet you call yourself a believer. have you even read your bible?
Your god says he created good and evil.

If God answered everything we wanted Him to we wouldn't rely on Him. Sometimes what we think is the best thing for us isn't at all. Only God knows what's best for us and if we rely on Him life would go much better.

I find it extremely offensive that you think that a god would answer any of your selfish and meaningless prayers when 5000 children die DAILY because they can not find clean drinking water.
