You can use olive oil or any other kind of oil, for that matter. It will have the same effect. If the oil is slightly warm, it will be absorbed better.

It's great as a hair treatment. It 's good for the scalp and hair follicles especially if it's a heated olive oil hair treatment. Heat it up a little before you put it on your hair. There isn't any certain kind, they are all good. But make sure you wash it off and don't leave it in as a hair product, your hair will look to greasy and gross.

use virgin olive oil. i think its less harsh on ur hair. r u using olive oil to make ur hair really shiny and smooth? do it cuz it totally works!!!!

Unless you might have dry scalp or else I is not going to advise but when its only one time factor then it will have to be satisfactory. Avoid the scalp when you have oily scalp however but relatively have got to 'shampoo' your hair (mid shaft to ends).

yes it is.
i do it all the time and my hair is soft.
you can heat it up and put in on your hair.
then place a plastic cap over it for 5 minutes.
then rinse it out.
trust me it works.
