I have been going threw the same thing as you for my whole life. All I do is sitt back and take what people say because if its not true then do not listen to them. tell them that they are wrong and that you dont like what they are saying. Just ignore it. They will soon stop if they notice it i not doing anything to you. lol. Im not making sence to myself.lol. I gnore that last part.

Know this...people will always gossip. This means where there are people there are gossipers and rumor mongers. Don't let yourself get caught up with such people and don't let yourself think that what these rumor mongers say has any credence in fact. If you want to know the facts of any situation then always go to the source that knows. Give rumors no place in your mind but instead talk openly and honestly to others and say little when in a crowd but listen intently and you will find wisdom.

i hate rumours too. basically when i heard a rumour myself, i will ignored it and pretend that i dun hear it. if u really want to ignored rumors, u should train yourself not too care about what people said.

its natural for people to tell rumors and want to listen to them
just think about the truth and if they are about someone else how it would be if they were about you

Don't show them that the rumors hurt or else you'll keep hearing them...just laugh at themmm and say yup yup they are all true...
they will fade quick!!!

yeah you basically answered your own question hun. but if it bothers you that much confront the rumor. find out who spread it, why they did it, and then set the record straight.
