Color will not lift color, so if you want to go to a lighter color, you will have to either bleach which I dont recommend or color remove. I would recommend you go to a professional for this. To prevent "color over" when you touch up your roots use a permant hair color, then rinse it out and use a semi-permant all over. This will blend you color together without making you ends darker than you roots.

the color you bought will only give you an even color if it's darker than the hair that's already colored, which it sounds like it isn't. if it's lighter, then you'll get a lighter color at the regrowth and darker ends (hot roots). if you want to go a lighter color than what's on the ends, you might want to see your stylist, especially after having processed it so many times previously. i think you'll find you'll be much happier

With all the different coloring you have done you should go to a master colorist. It is more expensive but they are trained to do it. If you try to do it yourself you will make it a different color. The store bought products all vary in their base color and if you combine the wrong base with your hair color you could be in for a colorful mistake.

there's a clean dye which removes the colour youve purely utilized, and might get it decrease back on your organic shade which it grew to become into in the previous. Ive used it and it has constantly labored somewhat properly. Its the colour B4... you should purchase it at some different shops different than boots. take a glance around. :)
