My son and nephew found over 350 golf balls in the ditch behind our house. We washed them up really good and have many brands names(ie:titlest, top flight, gold bear, nike, etc.)

They want to sell them for a trip to Indiana beach. My question is what is a fair price to ask for these?
We were thinking $5.00 a dozen or 2 dozen for $9.00.

Not all of them were found in the ditch. Some were hit in the yard as well. We cleaned them really good. Usually a drunk golfer will give us $10.00 for a dozen.

The golf course out here charges $5.00 for 3 used balls. Like I said, MANY are major brand names and some even look "new in appearence". I don't know anything about golf. All I know is we get over 200(averege, with the eception they are doing major renovation over there.) of these suckers on are property each year!!!

ok now first pick out all the titleist pro v1 balls , and callaway hx tours and if they are in good shape charge a buck a ball for them( they are normally 36 to 43 dollars a dozen new) , or 12 for 11 bucks (dont mix them up with the other balls) ...seperate all the alike balls (callaway, nike, pinnacle etc.) and bag them in seperate dozens and fire them off for 7 a dozen or two dozen for 12. that way people will be inclined to buy more...this is a fair price for the balls you have, sounds like you live right off a golf course so im sure you will have some business...on a busy weekend where the boys arent doing much have them sit out with a sign saying 'cheap golf balls for sale' or 'cheap callaway and proVs' that should get their attention...good luck with your new business!

$5 or $6 a dozen... 2 for either $9 or $10 would work

I would suggest that you should pair the golf balls up (top flight with top flight, titlest nxt with titlest nxt, etc..etc..) and the price you mention is a good price to sell them for. When you come down to the few odds one, just sell them as a mix bag and for $7 a dozen.

Nothing to lose in trying.....besides a few more drunks and Indiana Beach is on the horizon lol And depending on the area and course...the price sounds reasonable

pack them in egg crates and stand alongside the course and sell them for $5/dozen - they'll be gone by the end of the day if they're titleists

Considering where you found them, I think that would be a fair price.
