The chef salads we do at the restaurant I work at is: A bag of salad mix, hard boiled egg, ham or grilled chicken, tomato (chopped) and shredded cheese. Top salad with all the above ingredients. As for the grilled chicken, here at home I take boneless chicken breast and sprinkle some chicken seasoning on it.... grilled on the stove until done. Hope this is easy enough. I have 4 kids so easy is my way of cooking.

Iceburg lettuce, julieanne slices of cold cuts (usually ham, turkey) american cheese slices also julieanne cut, boiled eggs (halved) tomato slices and salad dressing. You can also add some green or black olives. Done.

Basic chef salad is lettuce (any kind you wish), boiled egg, cheese and sliced ham. Anything else you want to add is up to you......such as.....onion, celery, bacon, radishes and so on.
