It affects us both positively and negatively. We have become so dependent on gadgets to do small jobs for us that we are no longer sharp enough but at the same time we can focus more on the what our professional jobs are rather than worry about small things.
I can not live without my PDA, would forget half of things to do or meetings to attends or places to be :)

In the last 6 months that I have had my computer, I have been able to make and keep better contact with my family. My brothers, sisters, and children are scattered around the country and some in Iraq. I am able to maintain contact through a family website with a private family chat room and email as well as instant messaging. As a result we have gotten much closer as a family.

It opens a great way for communication. I now talk to my family all the time as well as old friends. It also lets me keep everyone updated about my life....for those who are interested.

It allows me to travel 12 miles to work every day. Before cars I could never have lived so far from work.
It allows me to answer questions from people all over the world. I could never have done this before Yahoo! Answers.
