If he has experience then let him take the lead, you can just follow along.
Here's what you do if he doesn't have much experience.
Don't go for a french kiss for several minutes. Just start out with lips on lips. Later in the kiss if their is a break you can lick you lips to get them moist. Later you can just flick your tongue out for a second and touch his lips with your tongue. Later you run your tongue along his lips, slowly, but don't stick your tongue into his mouth. Finally you can put your tongue in his mouth just for a few seconds, and then work up to having his tongue in your mouth or your tongue in your mouth for longer times.
Once you start nature will help you out some.

lip sucking is nice, if done correctly

Go with what feels natural. Enjoy it, dont sound so scared or you wont enjoy your first kiss. Trust me you want to enjoy it because you will always remember it.
