It wasn't "exactly" cheating when they were first together. He and I were not exclusive. He had a relationship with her when I allowed myself to be wary of his aggressive pusuit of commitment between us. She is married. I discovered they had been together when I found a photo of her and a love note crammed in a book months after he and I agreed to be monogamous. I begged him to stop speaking to her. He promised it was a fling and they were through.
I suspect, from some suggestive emails I uncovered, ok I snooped, that they were still continuing. His latest email to her from last week said that he was "truly, truly sorry" but he had to remove her as a MySpace friend because it was upsetting me. He also let her know that she should feel free to continue to contact him because he really likes her.
I asked if he still writes her and he swore he doesn't. He has several password protected accounts that he checks daily.
He swears he loves me. Do I trust or let him go?

Neither.You just need to tell him youre willing to share him with her.Heck, invite her over for a 3 some or use the brain GOD gave you and dump him.He may not be doing her ....YET!However; IF you rub 2 sticks together long enough you WILL get a fire, and they have been rubbing sticks for how long now?How about when her husband finds out and he takes out his jealous rage on your b/f?Do you want to be there when that happens?How about when he tells you she's pregnant and it might be his?Or he gives you something ajax wontt ake off and the doctors cant get rid of?Use your HEAD girlfriend, not your fantasies,emotions, hopes,etc,Use your head.Do what you'd tell your best freind or daughter to do in this situation.

Well if the email said he is sorry but he is removing her from myspace is because he cares about you and doesnt care about her, dont you think she would get upset too when she found out he erased her because "YOU" wanted too. I think they are friends and that it. But just be aware you never know what would happen on the future, make sure you know what he is doing when he is not with you. Good luck girl...

Tough one. My girlfriend and I are so comfortable with each other that we allow one and other to check emails/sms etc. It's not that we do it, it's just because we know there is nothing to hide. In my opinion, it's a great quality to have because I know there are no secrets, because there shouldn't be in any relationship.
It sounds like he is snooping around. It's understandable to have friends but to just delete her off his myspace, then send an email saying he didn't want to do it isn't right.

Oh how your experience sounds so similar to mine. A relationship is built on a strong foundation of trust. If you don't have that foundation you don't have a stable / healthy relationship. I wouldn't doubt that he loves you, but rather question what's going on within himself to have this conflict. During this time, its my opinion that he should be doing whatever he can to help you with the issue of broken trust. If he can't do that ... can he truly be trusted? If he can't, do you want a relationship that you will question so many of his actions or words?

You already know the answer to this one and the answer is he's cheating and needs to be out of your life.She is a married woman and is treating her own man like crap so she won't worry about crossing the line again.He has some growing up to do and you need a man not a boy.

Do not let it go! You have asked him to stop and he is lying to you saying that he has. You have now found proof that he has not. Hun i am afraid it is time to stop lying to yourself. If he is not telling you the truth about this he is probably lying about other things.. I say confront him and leave him. If he thought enough of your feelings he would have already stopped. Besides what you read tells you that he has no intentions of not talking to this _______.
