OMG i found Thomas the train potty!!! My son loves Thomas, too bad he is alreday potty trained :-(

Have fun , here is the link and i hope it helps your twins do #2 with thomas. Oh and dont forget to buy some stickers of thomas also so you give them rewards after they do #2 in potty!

First of all, only try to train one at a time so you don't have to hunt for two lots of "smelly parcels" around the house.
Second, make a reward chart which you can decorate with Thomas pics.
Third, adorn the candidate with a small sticker for every wee or poo in the potty and congratulate him for every one.
Fourth for every 5 stars, give him a little treat like a tiny toy.

You'll see that peer pressure will make the second less receptive one of your little boys want to use the potty too.
Or you could wait for the warmer weather and stick them outside as much as poss while training them...

I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and she is the same, she will do a number 1 on toilet but number 2 has to be done in a nappy! don't worry its all about them feeling secure, my 7 yr old was the same when she was potty training, it all takes time so don't worry they will do it when they are ready!

I had the same problem with my son. He was doing #1 in the toilet since he was 2 1/2 and on he's 3rd b-day I took the diaper off, no more diapers not even at night and told him that he was a big boy now and that mommy doesn't clean big boys diapers anymore. I told him that if he did #2 in his underwear he'll have to clean it . Luckily he never had to clean himself and in less than a week he was potty trained. Good Luck!

I have a 2year old, I found the best way to train her for #1 and #2 was alot of praise. I know this may sound silly and may not work for everyone but, whenever she does a 1 or 2 i get her really excited and start clapping and laughing with her she loves it, it makes her feel really proud of what she has done...

She was 2 last Oct and no nappy ever not even at night.

Good luck

I tried every trick in the book and finally resorted to bribery and it worked a treat! A number one was a sweetie and a number two was a comic!

I had a very hard time potty traing my son so I know what you are going through. Try buying them special underwear, get them to come with you and let them pick out there own big boy pants with favourite character ect explain to them ect Diago does not like to be wet it is your job to keep him dry it not nice to pee on diago so we need to be big boys and go in your big boy potty, get them to decorate there potty with stickers that they pick out if using a potty, make a potty routine when they get up after breakfast, 15 min after drink before lunch and after maybe every hour before supper after supper before and after bath and before bed. play games like get cheerios keep plastic baggie in bathroom put some in toilet and tell them to try and hit them with their pee. Make a potty chart and every time they go pee they get a special sticker, and if they go in there pants take it away cross out with marker and let them see you do it, set a goal if you have ect 100 stickers at the end of week you can pick out a special treat at the store. hope this is of any help to you and good luck. just remember try to be patient with them don't show anger, and make a big deal when they do go pee ring a bell make up a happy song ect, don't push to hard or they can regress, it will happen when you less expect it to one day they will just wake up and use the potty all by them self trust me

try to make it a game with 'healthy rewards', or you could try to paint or put a sticker of their favourite cartoon character in the bottom of their potty
